Year-Round Leadership

After the completion of summer expeditions, students participate in year-round leadership development opportunities, maintaining a strong connection to the program, each other and their individual life plans.

Through a collection of year-round programs and hands-on learning experiences American Explorers learn to deepen and refine their leadership skills and put their talents to use in meaningful ways. Participation includes school and community service projects, team building exercises, advocacy, employment and internships, and health and wellness activities.
